quarterly membership publication

Seattle Audubon

background

Seattle Audubon is a nonprofit that works to protect, restore and preserve natural habitat for birds and other wildlife. Earthcare Northwest is a print publication they send to members every quarter.

In 2019, they asked me to establish a cohesive clean new design, strengthen their visual identity, and deepen engagement with readers. During our time working together, I’ve helped them streamline the process and my role has grown to advise on content direction and provide copy editing.

Carrie is more than a designer! She is instrumental in helping our nonprofit craft and convey the importance of our work to supporters. Her talents in the use of text, graphics, images and colors allowed us to visualize information in creative and impactful ways. Because of her industry experience Carrie understands our organizational goals and is a true partner in helping us achieve those.

Carrie delivers not just a great design product but a great collaborative experience. Her questions are spot-on and lead to a better outcome. Carrie's generous way of sharing knowledge goes far beyond the current project and ensures that our future projects will build on a solid foundation.
